Welcome to Living the Eucharist for Archdioceses and Dioceses
Living the Eucharist is an effective and growing Lenten ministry that enhances diocesan mission by fostering spiritual growth and discipleship in parishes throughout a diocese. Inspired by the teachings of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis, it creates and empowers inspired communities of missionary disciples.
Chances are parishes in your own diocese have already participated in this ministry! Since 2012, Living the Eucharist has been tested and proven in more than 1,200 parishes in more than 93 dioceses, including the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.
Living the Eucharist can be easily implemented on a diocesan-wide basis through the Living the Eucharist Diocesan Partnership Program, which offers dioceses:
- Customized in-person training.
- Program resources and invitation materials.
- Individual guidance.
- Assistance for financially-challenged parishes, and more.
Participants—from archbishops to pastors, and from religious educators to individual parishioners—love Living the Eucharist, calling it “a blessing,” “one of the best things I have ever been part of,” “the answer to a prayer,” and “my favorite Lenten program we’ve ever done.”
The Holy Spirit works powerfully through Living the Eucharist. Find out how this proven ministry can bring the joy of the gospel to thousands in your diocese!
